Cuisine : Indian
Prep time : 25 mins
Cook Time : 7 mins (each)
Serves : 4
INGREDIENTS
Curd - 4 tbsp
Sooji - 2 bowl (small)
Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
Capsicum - 1/2 (finely chopped)
Fresh coriander leaves - handful (finely chopped)
Green chilli - 1 (finely diced)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Salt - according to taste
Refined oil / Sunflower oil - as per requirement
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Maggi magic masala ( optional) - 3/4 tbsp
STEPS
Mix 2 bowl (small) sooji with 4 Tbsp Curd. Add a little water & blend well.
Cover & keep for 20 mins.
Chop onion , tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves & capsicum finely.

Add all the chopped veggies and fresh coriander leaves with finely diced green chillies in the batter.

Add all the spices & salt in the batter.

Pour 1 tbsp oil on a tawa and heat it on high flame.
Add two large spoonful of the batter blend on tawa and using a round head spoon flatter the batter evenly on tawa.

Add bits of oil from the sideways in order to avoid chilla sticking to tawa.
Note: If your batter is completely sticking to tawa then, consider adding 1 tbsp wheat flour to the batter and blend well.

Flip both sides in order to get it perfectly heated and cooked from either side.

Press gently to get it into a thin structure hence adding more crispness.

Every time you add on a new chilla to tawa, consider a damp rough cloth which you can wipe off the tawa with. Add 3-4 drops water while wiping tawa in order to bring down the temperature.

Serve with chaat masala sprinkled or raw, tastes great in either way. Dip in tomato ketchup or green chutney for even better taste.
